My project will be looking into the neglect my village has had compared to the main town centre, with its new renovations and influx of money, Bringing in more big brand names, shops, a large cinema, and a brand-new shopping centre/market. Which brought in more tourism value and income for the town but by neglecting the community and smaller businesses, ruining the community aspect of the town. I decided to do this as I had moved away for 2 years while these renovations took place but had to come back due to financial reasons and also being unsettled, but when I came back I barely recognized the town with it changed so much and being gentrified, I’ve started this project to highlight the disparity between my village and the modern town centre.
