Phantasmagoria [ fan-taz-muh-gawr-ee-uh ] is a term to describe a sequence of real or imaginary images like that seen in a dream. These images aim to transport viewers to a world of eerie and nightmarish scenarios, using darkness of the night to create a cinematic experience that blurs the lines between reality and imagination. Using locations that are abandoned or overlooked, shows an unsettling beauty that exists within the shadows. This is not meant to be simple realistic depiction of these places, but rather an evocative exploration of a viewer's unconscious fears. This work is heavily influenced by horror films, and the darker side of the human psyche.
