When constructing this commercial portfolio, it was my ambition to create a series of professional product images to capture the viewers’ attention. Contradictory to the last portfolio attempt, where challenging gendered stereotypes was explored, I decided to conform to these categories as they helped produce more conventional outcomes. To develop my work in the way that I visualised, I decided to concentrate this practice on producing more creative product shots with the intention of, not only grabbing the attention of the viewer. The idea behind this was to create an artistic outcome to a seemingly conventional product image, to pique individuals’ interests.
