See You Soon is based on changing family dynamics. As you age you notice prominent features that have been passed on, including physical features, mentality and memories that have helped form the person you are today. This work was made for the purpose of remembering the importance of connections but also highlighting the downsides of expectations and loss. Although based on personal experience, See You Soon intends to represent isolation and confusion about the self which can be more universal, as these are themes that affect most young people as their idea of body image adapts.
